My name is Dennis, I’m the CEO of Forecast.
It’s my annual year in review and I’m getting a sense of dejavu with everyone at home again. Despite the uncertainty of the past year, I’m really happy and excited because again it’s been a fantastic year for Forecast
At Forecast, we’re building an AI-native platform that represents the most advanced technology ever applied to managing projects, resources and finances.
Our platform automates busywork, predicts outcomes, guides projects to success, and most importantly empowers every single one of our customers to do their best work.
Technology adoption is nowhere near its peak yet, and Forecast has again grown extremely fast, onboarding thousands of users across hundreds of organizations, growing our topline multiple times through ‘21.
Again a deep-felt thank you to all of our customers that rely on Forecast on a daily basis. All Forecasters work extremely hard every day providing service and shipping features to help you operate your business more efficiently.
We’re constantly guided in our belief of letting technology do what it does best, so humans can do what they do best.
During ‘21 we’ve added 59 new Forecasters to the team across our offices in Copenhagen, and London. We’ve also opened in New York and are looking to fill a number of positions there in the very near future.
On the gender diversity side, we’re now at a 35% female to male ratio and have more than 23 different nationalities across the teams. We’re continuing our focus on improving this area.
Thank you to all Forecasters, new and old, for joining us on this very important mission. We’re still looking for a large number of new people to join the team, so if you want to join a rocket we’d love to hear from you.
‘21 also brought on some very exciting and completely amazing additions to our executive team. We had Simone Goodman join us as CFO, Tom Luk as CLO and Melanie Lawn as our CCO. Bolstering up our already incredible exec team and I’m incredibly grateful to be able to attract such talent to the firm.
At the board level, I’m honored in addition to the existing team from Crane, SEED Capital and Heartcore to have been joined by James Wise at Balderton who led our $19M series A in 2021. He’s joining the existing board of directors along with our non-executive director Jeremy Roche and our new Chairman, Sohaib Abbasi, who’s pedigree in the Silicon Valley ecosystem is unparalleled.
On the product side, we continue to release large and small improvements to Forecast more than 10 times a day. Our level of innovation has led to a mass of both new and improved functionality, helping users all the way from individual collaborators to C-level decision-makers. We're constantly focusing on empowering every person to do the best work of their lives.
I’m very excited for our new big pieces of technology, AvA our Advanced Analytics module, Nova Insights, custom permissions, skills module, capacity planning and much, much more to come.
Connectivity-wise we implemented large improvements on existing connectors and also added among others Hubspot, Pipedrive and BambooHR. We’re looking to build many more 3rd party connectors in ‘22 both in-house and using partners through the ecosystem.
Seamless data flows are extremely important, as they enable our customers to get the full 360-degree view of their entire business.
