Announcing Forecast's $5.5M funding round

Hi there, 

I’m Dennis, co-founder and CEO of Forecast, and we’re on a mission to remove spreadsheets from the world of resource and project management. 

We’re super excited to announce our latest funding round led by London based Crane Venture Partners, with our existing investors from SEED Capital and Heartcore joining the round as well. This takes the total funding we’ve raised to date to almost $10M. 

Crane’s focus on backing the next generation of ambitious intelligent computing founders matches perfectly with our views on the future or work and how AI will reshape knowledge work over the coming years.

The last year has been particularly exciting for us at Forecast. We’ve seen the scale of operations of our existing and new customers grow triple digit year-over-year.

Forecast has helped manage more than 40,000 projects with more than 1,000,000 tasks and over 2,000,000 time registrations for our global customer base in 40+ countries. Our artificial intelligence capabilities has helped project managers and team members estimate, assign and register time more than 400,000 times. 

As a product, we’ve steadily evolved from combining 4 disparate areas into a single product (resource management, project management, time sheets and reporting) to becoming the next generation PSA platform that our customers run large parts of their business on.

With the new funding, we’ll be augmenting our Copenhagen based team, currently 38 people with 18 different nationalities, with a new office in London from Q1 2020. We'll scale across engineering, product, sales, customer success and marketing.

It’s been a phenomenal journey so far but we’re just getting started.
