New Infrastructure Based on IBM SoftLayer
It's migration time...
Successful migration to IBM Softlayer
All of the Forecast infrastructure has recently moved successfully from Amazon AWS to IBM Softlayer through their Catalyst program. This is a part of our new entrepreneur partnership with IBM and the move has already increased our SLA and performance for Forecast.it vastly.
This also means that we have moved data center from Ireland to the Netherlands and auto scaling across the atlantic to our US friends will also be much improved.
During the migration all customer data was successfully moved and restored in the new environments. Load times of Forecast.it in the new environments have been optmized by more than 50% and our Apdex score is hovering around 99-100 with an average response of 25.2 ms.
This means that all pages in the Forecast.it app should load in less than 4 seconds.
